In 2002 I finished up my graduate program at NYU and as a graduation gift my Brother and my Wife sent me on a trip to Spain, I finished this book in 10 days, in Madrid and Toledo.

Nuthin like studing from the real thing.

After the Siesta hours we would hit a cafe and get a drink.

Wow! a Bidet toilet. We should have these in the States.

We were in Madrid during the Big Easter procession that began at  Plaza de Mayor. I followed it a while drawing.

We were in Madrid during the big Easter procession that began at Plaza de Mayor. I followed it while drawing. Loud brass, horns, people praying and crying, babies were being kissed, it was amazing.

After a day visiting museums, cafe’s and Spanish sites Hataya was exhausted and slept, I continued to draw no matter where I was.
